Notice:

This campground is owned and operated by a non-profit organization, which in addition to running a campground also operates two visitor information centres within Lunenburg. Like many places all over the world, we are dealing with staff shortages. This means our campground office is currently operating with shorter hours. If you have reserved a site, rest assured your reservation information will be left outside in a secure spot for you to access.

We often hire youth from the area to assist them in gaining valuable work experience. For many of them this is their first job, and they are trying to navigate learning while under stress. We have noticed a pattern this season of rude and aggressive behaviour towards our staff. This will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to deny service.

In addition, there has been a sharp increase in damage to our facilities – some of which appears to be done with malicious intent. This is leading to negative reviews online and increased costs for us to try and repair the damages during a busy season. We ask that you treat our facilities with respect and if you notice damages that you inform a staff member so we can try and fix it as soon as possible.

Sincerely,

Lunenburg RV Park & Campground Management
